Washington D.C. Fly In

Make Your Voice Heard

Join us for LMA’s Annual Washington D.C. Fly In Wednesday, April 27 – Friday, April 29, 2016!
Take advantage of this chance for LMA members from across the United States to connect with their representation in D.C. to discuss the issues that matter most to the livestock marketing industry.

Fly In events will begin Wednesday afternoon with a briefing, address by House Agriculture Committee Chairman
Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX), and other guest speakers.

On Thursday, LMA members will canvas Capitol Hill for individual meetings with legislators and their staffs as well as an educational briefing about Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) requirements
and needed adjustments.

On Friday morning, members will hear from leaders at USDA. On Friday afternoon, there will be a choice of tourist activities.

LMA can help with planning for members wishing to extend their stay or come in early to see additional D.C. sights.
