Sam Capoun, Tara Johnson and Jennifer Scott have recently joined the LMA and LMIA team in the Kansas City, Missouri offices.
Sam Capoun is a recent graduate of Kansas State University, where she earned her B.S. in agricultural communications and journalism. Prior to joining the LMA, she was the Account Manager for a livestock sale marketing firm in the area. She grew up on a commercial cattle ranch and stocker business in the Flint Hills of Kansas and is still actively involved with the operation. In her personal time, she enjoys being outside with her daughter, Breckyn, or drinking coffee on the front porch with family and friends. Tara Johnson is a Blue Springs, Missouri native. Immersed in agriculture through FFA, she continued her interest by earning a Bachelor of Science in agriculture business with an emphasis in animal science from the University of Central Missouri. Prior to joining LMA, Tara worked for Smithfield Foods in the finance department. Tara is passionate about the agricultural industry and strives to educate others on the industry realm. Tara is married and has two blue heelers, Sadie and Rory. She enjoys spending her free time outside hiking and camping with her husband, Tyler, and their two heelers. Jennifer Scott has been a resident of Kansas City, Missouri nearly all her life. Prior to joining LMA, she spent fifteen years in the health care field where she specialized in sales and operations training. Her key focus throughout her professional career has been customer service and building solid relationships with her customer base. She is married with two active high school age kids. In her free time, you can find her and her husband, Andy, at the volleyball court cheering on their kids or at any other sporting event they can attend.
